The minute I heard of “the beating heart of your club” competition I knew that Christine had to be nominated. Christine’s tireless work at the Allansford cricket club over the past 15 years is nothing short of amazing. Christine has held many a role/position in her 15 years at our club,13 of these spent as secretary. Christine also performs duties such as chief cook, cleaner, organiser, bar staff, merchandise co-ordinator & mother figure to many a player. Christine would no doubt don the whites if asked. Christine’s willingness & genuine love for our club Go’s a very long way for both our, on & off field success. Christine has actively helped co-ordinate fundraising efforts so that our club could purchase major assets such as a heavy roller & our stunning picket fence. The Allansford cricket club wants to show Christine our gratitude & appreciation for her efforts & feel that she embodies the true meaning of “the heart beat of our club”.
