Don (Bristles)

DON (BRISTLES)

SOUTH PORT SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB

NOMINATED BY LAURA

Don Alexander, known to most as Bristles, is the backbone of our Surf Club. He is a founding member and been heavily involved in all aspects of the club since 1958. He volunteers countless hours as the Treasurer of the club, but it doesn’t stop there. He officials, helps with surf boats, the gym, memberships, events, and so much more. Without him the recent upgrade to the surf club kitchen would not have been possible. His time and effort cannot be over stated in the whole build; quite simply it would not be complete without his time and dedication to the project. Bristles is without a doubt well deserving of this award!
