Tanya has been at Rennie Football Netball Club since 2000. Over these 16 years, Tanya has held many roles within the Rennie Netball community. From supporter, player or coach to either being the secretary, treasurer or president of the netball committee and even being behind the bar or in the canteen, Tanya has been heavily invested in the development and continuation of our small rural netball club.

Tanya is a life member of Rennie Football Netball Club being the club netball games record holder with 212 games. Throughout her time at Rennie, Tanya has become a proud mother to four daughters. Tayla who is nearly 18 plays in our A Grade side, Ella, Lainey and Demi play in our under 13’s or under 11 netball grades.

This year Tanya did not don the dress, but instead was a coach to our under 11’s who participate in our Net Set Go program. Our Net Set Go Program was a Netball Victoria State Finalist for 2015 for being the Net Set Go Centre of the Year.

She is the first face you see on a Thursday night or a Saturday morning always smiling. Whether it be cheering from the sidelines supporting our netballers or stepping in to assist with the development of our players at all levels, Tanya is always there. She is also usually one of the last faces you see when you leave the club on a Thursday night or Saturday after the games have finished.

If it were not for Tanya’s passion, determination and community minded approach to keep our club going, Rennie Netball Club would not be in the position it is in today and we would be in recession.
