Terry, is our President and has been for the last 6 years. He, has either played and/or coached the club from 1962 – 1991. He moved to Adelaide for work in 1992, but returned to the club in 2006 as a league assistant coach and then took on the Presidents role in 2011.
From 2006 – to the present he has travelled from Adelaide to Tailem Bend twice a week to undertake the roles of Assistant Coach and President and many other tasks.
Terry, apart from the Presidents duty undertakes the following roles
• MAC ambassador
• Set up TBFC Facebook and TBFC website and is responsible for all of the posts
• Gathers all relevant information and submits all applications for Grants
• Submits match reports for the regional paper after each home game
• Submits club reports for the RMFL budget on a weekly basis
• Submits reports for the local paper on a monthly basis
• Submits all relevant information to the Community Football League in regards to players match payments
• Organises reunions and commemorative Guernsey’s for all re-unions.
• Developed all the documents that enabled our Club to become a fully registered Starclub member
• Developed all the documents that enabled our Club to become a Good Sports member level 3.
• Responsible for Best & Fairest power point presentations for the Reserves and League sides end of year awards
• General duties (BBQ) on home games.
The impact that Terry has had on the Club is immeasurable and it is fair to say that the Club is very fortunate to have someone so dedicated to the Club.
